With Valentine’s Day quickly approaching, you may be anticipating the gift your man is going to get you. Valentine’s Day is usually a day when a woman gets spoiled by her significant other.
Question is, should it be reciprocated to the same degree?
Although most times it is not, why shouldn’t it be? This Valentine’s Day you may want to do something special for your man and here are a few ideas that may make this Valentine’s Day one of the best and most exciting experiences for the BOTH of you!
How much are you willing to spend? Whether it be hundreds of dollars or only a few there are plenty of ways to give your man a present from the heart. Here are a few ideas:
101 Reasons Why I Love You – For those not looking to spend too much money, if any at all but want to do something special for their boyfriend.
A few years ago I made what I called “101 reasons”. It was a jar and inside on 101 slips of paper, I wrote on each piece a reason why I loved him. This can easily be done with the computer. Get different colored paper. On each one, hole punch a hole and put a slip of ribbon on each one, it makes the slips of “reasons” fancier. If you REALLY love the guy, make 365 reasons, one for each day of the year. It may take some work but he’ll really appreciate it because it shows it took time and a lot of effort. Anyway, that’s what I did. I didn’t have a lot of money and I’m no poet either but the reasons come a lot easier than you would expect. Don’t forget to put the quirky stupid things he does.
Buy him tickets to a sports event – It’s a bit more pricey! But definitely worth the smile on his face.
Almost any man on the receiving end of this gift would say he has the “best girlfriend ever” and his friends’ envy would never end. Men LOVE sports, it’s like the second most important thing in their life next to having sex. So why not buy him tickets to a game? Take him to a game you know he will enjoy with a team that he likes. Don’t buy him Lakers tickets if he’s a Knicks fan! If you aren’t big on sports simply do some detective work. Pay attention to what he watches and act interested. Even this simple act will be a surprise that will make your man happy.
