Students, faculty, family members and fellow officers filled the Cassell Coliseum on the campus of Virgina Tech Monday, Dec. 12th to mourn the life of police officer Deriek Crouse who was gunned down at a traffic stop on the Blacksburg campus, Thursday afternoon.
Crouse, an Army veteran who had served in Iraq received kind words from Virgina Governor Bob McDonnell, the chief of the university’s police force and a fellow member of the department.
