Back in 2006, Stephen Thompson – “The Butcher” – and Andrew Marshall – “The Chef” – linked up in college to create the Pyknic brand. In short Pyknic is, “a tale of young, hungry “small-town” kids with rebellious attitudes towards art, food, music, sport, and life at large.” Soon, what initially began with hand-drawn t-shirts would evolve into this subculture, supplemented by genuine products and personal experiences.
Now after much success, Pyknic continues to stay inspired with their Spring 2012 Collection. The inspiration behind the designs was to create color filled graphics that show who they (Pyknic) are as people, while reflecting on the brand’s perspective of fun, creative and youthful expression.
