Everyone’s writing songs for Mimi in this episode of love and hip hop.
I enjoyed K.Michelle’s song for Mimi over Stevie J’s. Therapy was a great move for this couple because their communication is definitely off. Writing songs doesn’t fix the problems they have. Stevie J is lost and doesn’t think with his mind, clearly. However, his acting skills are on point! That scene with Mimi after his performance deserves an award.
I also saw some emotion this week from Benzino. He nearly teared up at the thought of losing Kharlie, how cute! Now Kharlie has a decision to make, focus on her career or focus on love – apparently you can’t do both. I side with Benzino this time, go for love. I haven’t actually listened to anything she has out but if its anything like her weak performance for Stevie J. in episode 5 she should throw the in towel. Benzino cares, hip hop doesn’t.
K. Michelle is looking for love in this episode. She goes on a date with a pro football player but even after straddling him in a steamy make out session she decides he doesn’t keep her interested. Kirk and Rasheeda finally decide other management could really help their marriage and her budding career. Not so much of Joseline this episode. However in the beginning she tried to cut Stevie J. out of her music career by booking her own studio sessions. Every episode we hear some of her music. I have no idea what she’s saying in Spanish but it sounds like hits!
