So Love & Hip Hop Atlanta is definitely one of those shows that is a train wreck you just cannot stop watching. The show focuses around womanizer / producer Stevie J, the mother of his child, Mimi, and his mistress / artist , Jaseline. The fifth episode that aired July 16, is nothing short of the drama we all look forward to every Monday night. There are other characters on the show but I can’t tell if it’s my craving for petty drama on “reality” television or not but K.Michelle , Rasheeda, and Karlie J and their stories are not as interesting as the drama that is Stevie J. Can’t forget about Lil Scrappy and his baby mother Erica. Anyway, to continue on tonight’s episode…Lil scrappy and his mom really need to part ways. Grown-up mommas boys are so unattractive. His mother interferes entirely too much in his relationships. Plus, Lil scrappy is a coward. Him using his asthma attack as an excuse to dump Erica for Bucky, aka Shay, is pathetic. He needs to grow up talking about he almost died. Get an inhaler and keep it moving.
After Karlies weak “audition” for Stevie J I believe it’s time for her to retire. She graced the stage like the elderly woman she’s accused of being. Being in the music industry seriously isn’t for everyone.
Joseline getting emotional over Stevie J considering working with Kharlie proves she can’t separate work and personal. She will end up right back in the strip club if she doesn’t learn to do so. The scene between Benzino and Kharlie seemed staged.
When Mimi dropped off Steebies stuff it was a cry for attention. She’s mad but she loves him. As we all know “love” will make you do some crazy things. There’s no way she’s done with him. I really like her but I feel like her angry woman act is all for the cameras.
What did you think about episode 5?
