Three years in the making, Bodega – a brand native to Boston – is gearing up to release their first original clothing collection. As the brainchild of founders Jay Gordon, Dan Natola, and Oliver Mak, the collection looks to blur the lines between fashion and function. Straying away from the “skinny jean era” of the times, the SS12 collection makes it a point to promote a more laid back, loosely fitted 90′s-esc aesthetic, garnered with a distinct flair from hype patches, buttoned pockets, camouflage and African prints throughout. The imagery of the look book centers around a theme called “Hidden in Plain View,” which broadcasts a simple color palette, along the assortment of jackets, shorts, hoodies, shirts, and tanks, in merit of an authentic brand identity. The full collection is set for release over the weekend via the Clearway St. shop and Bodega website.
