Target confirmed the rumor that Apple will be opening up a number of mini-shops within their stores this year. They will start off with a six week trial period in select Target stores and then be replaced by another participating brand. This store within a store concept is nothing new as other stores have done it before but hearing that Apple is doing this now always makes tech geeks like me excited and ready to ambush the first Target I see with a mini-Apple store.
